| ATP Innovations in Testing Conference 2013 |
The Association of Test Publishers is an organization composed of the world’s leading test publishers and assessment service providers who are committed to advancing the use and integrity of testing products, services and technologies. Each year they hold an Innovations in Testing Conference to facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices, research and test applications. In February 2012, ebilities' Directors, Mark Cadman and Clare Lewis, headed to Palm Springs, California, to present an electronic showcase on the topic of Innovative Item and Test Formats entitled "Measuring Self-Monitoring: An Advance in Online Test Design". The showcase included a demonstration of how confidence ratings, as an integral part of cognitive ability testing, can be used to measure self monitoring and identify people who are over-confident or under-confident in their abilities. The presentation also highlighted lessons learned about self monitoring in high-stakes employment testing. In February 2013, Mark and Clare travelled to Florida to present another electronic showcase entitled "Beyond traditional cognitive ability testing; The case for working memory tests in personnel selection". |
