What are the gma-f™ & gma-fs™?

The gma-f is a six test battery that includes two tests of raw thinking power, tests of language and quantitative ability, and tests of verbal and financial reasoning. A test-taker's speed and accuracy on these tests determines their overall general mental ability score.

The gma-fs is a short form of the gma-f, that was developed for use with candidates from non-English speaking backgrounds. It includes four tests and is available in English, Thai and Chinese.
 

What are main uses of the gma-f™ and gma-fs™?

The gma-f test battery is the most challenging in the gma series. It is ideal for managerial and executive level testing to identify job applicants who have high level problem solving potential.

Both the gma-f and gma-fs are also highly suitable for recruitment screening within the banking and finance industries, including stock and share traders.

The test batteries include highly relevant tests of memory, numerical aptitude and financial reasoning, and can identify job applicants who are over-confident in their mental ability. These people may be "at risk" in terms of their decision making and propensity for over-trading.
